- 1 cup rice flour
- 1 cup gram flour
- 1 cup rava/ suji/ semolina
- 1 sweetcorn boiled + 1/4 cup corn kernels
- 1 cup curd
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 inch Ginger
- 5 cloves garlic
- 1 green chilli
- as per taste salt
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/2 lemon juice
- 2 pinches baking soda
- 1/2 cup carrot grated
- 1/4 cup coriander leaves
- For making handvo
- 1 cup oil
- 4-5 tsp cumin seeds
- 4-5 tsp mustard seeds
- 5-6 tsp sesame seeds
- 2-3 spoon batter each time
- 7-8 corn kernels
- A few sesame seeds
- To be served with
- as required Tomato ketchup
Instructions to make to make Corn handvo
- Take rava, rice flour and gram flour in same quantity. Take curd n mix everything well.



- Add half a cup of water n make thick batter. Separate corn kernels.



- Add corn kernels, ginger, garlic and green chilli to it n grind well. Add salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, corn paste, baking soda and lemon juice.



- Mix everything well n add sugar. Add grated carrot n coriander leaves n mix again. Let the batter rest for 15 minutes



- Heat a frying pan n add 1 tsp oil. Add cumon, sesame n mustard seeds to the oil. Let them crackle. Add 2 tbsp batter over it n spread properly.


- Spread some sesame seeds n corn kernels on top. Pour some oil too n cover it n let it cook for 5 to 7 minutes. Now flip n cook on the other side for 5 minutes.



- Let it cook well n get golden crust. Crispy outside n soft from inside.
