- 1-2 teaspoon oil

- 3 boiled potatoes
- 1 onion chopped
- coriander leaves chopped
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- 5-6 green chilli paste
Instructions to make to make Rava Disc
- Firstly take kadai add 1 tsp oil then add mustard seeds after few minutes add onion finely chopped and saute for 2 minutes then add green chilli paste sautfor a minute then add boiled and some coriander leaves and mix it well. Add pinch of salt.
- Firstly, in a large pan roast 1 cup rava for 5 minutes or till it turns aromatic.
- Allow it to cool completely, and transfer roasted rava to a mixing bowl.
- Add in 1 cup curd, ½ tsp salt and combine well without forming any lumps.
allow to rest for 20 minutes or till rava / sooji absorbs water. - Again add ¼ cup water or as required to prepare idli batter consistency.
- Just before steaming the disc, add in ¼ tsp eno fruit salt or pinch of baking soda and give a gentle mix.
- Now take 4 glass of same size. Make potatoes stuffing pillar of size glass.Make same size of stuffing and keep aside.
- Now grease glass with oil and add rava batter in half glass and keep stuffing straight and fill with rava batter keep some distance (make sure it will not get over flow)
- Keep for steaming atleast 15-20 minutes.After cool down u can demould from glass.
- You can cut in disc size u can have like this also or u can u tempering of mustard seeds and turmeric.
- For that take pan add 1 tsp oil add mustard seeds and turmeric then roll ur demould rava disc and roll it for 2 minutes and keeep aside.
- Your rava disc is ready.
